Karim has been coaching for 11 years in academies in Great Britain. He has coached players who have played in the junior grand slams and regularly on the ITF and Tennis Europe Circuits. Along with coaching numerous British National Champions and players representing Team GB. In 2014, he came 2nd in LTA high performance coach of the year which was awarded at the LTA national coaching conference. As a junior player, he represented Great Britain from the age groups of under 12 to under 18 travelling around the world.
