Nuno Marques is a former tennis champion and professional tennis player from 1988-2001. He was the first Portuguese to reach the top 100 ATP rankings. Nuno played against Pete Sampras, Albert Costa, Alex Corretja, e. Kafelnikov, Mats Wilander, Tomas Enqvist, Marcelo Rios, Richard Krajicek, Petr Korda. His career high was singles ATP 86; Doubles: 57. He played Davis Cup from 1986 to 2001 and was Davis Cup Coach from 2014-2018. Played Olympics Sydney 2000. He has been coaching since 2002, and was Head Coach of Women in Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca since May 2016.
